DFA is excited to honor six extraordinary advocates during the Founder’s Awards at the 2022 National Leadership Conference on Saturday, September 17, in Chicago. These awards will honor excellence in patient advocacy in the following categories: 1) Medical Student Advocate, 2) Resident Advocate, 3) Physician Advocate, 4) Retired Physician Advocate, 5) a Copello Fellow and 6) a Health Advocate (non-physician).
Conference pricing structure is as follows:
- Medical Students or Other Health Professional Students – $99
- Residents & Fellows – $199
- Physicians (PAs/NPs) – $449
- Retired Physicians – $349
- Health Advocates – $249
The AAFP has reviewed National Leadership Conference 2022 and deemed it acceptable for up to 21.5 Live AAFP Prescribed credits. Term of Approval is from 09/15/2022 to 09/17/2022. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
AAFP Prescribed credit is accepted by the American Medical Association as equivalent to AMA PRA Category 1 credit(s)™ toward the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award. When applying for the AMA PRA, Prescribed credit earned must be reported as Prescribed, not as Category 1.
