As COVID-19 continues to spread across our communities and new variants emerge regularly, we recognize the critical importance of guidelines to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants and speakers at the National Leadership Conference. The guidelines outlined below are mandatory and we expect all conference participants and speakers to adhere to these guidelines.

COVID-19 Testing  Guidelines

To attend the National Leadership Conference you must test NEGATIVE for COVID-19 within 24 hours of the start of the conference.

COVID-19 Pre-Conference Symptom Guidelines

If you are experiencing any cold like or flu symptoms we ask that you not attend the National Leadership Conference in person. This guideline applies even if you have tested negative for COVID-19.

COVID-19 Vaccination and Booster Guidelines

To attend the National Leadership Conference you must be vaccinated. Each participant will need to upload a picture of their vaccination card. Attendees will receive an email with the link to provide the necessary information.

  •  Doctors for America considers either the two series shots of Pfizer or Moderna or one shot Johnson and Johnson AND a booster shot to be vaccinated.

COVID-19 Mask Guidelines

Throughout the conference we ask that participants and speakers wear masks at all times. Masks need to meet these standards as put forward by the CDC: Masks must cover both your nose and mouth throughout the conference.

Monkeypox Safety

Our team will continue to monitor the public health concern with the monkeypox virus. We will follow all CDC guidelines, and will provide sanitizing materials onsite (Lysol, alcohol, and hydrogen peroxide wipes, hand sanitizers, and masks). Stay safer by:

  • Wearing a mask
  • Washing your hands frequently with soap and water
  • Sanitizing surfaces
  • Refraining from sustained close skin-to-skin contact

If you have flu-like symptoms or a rash, we respectfully ask that you do not attend the conference in person. You can learn more about monkeypox from the CDC here.
