PHT 5 Daily Advocacy Actions

With so much happening right now, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. If you’re looking for a way to take action but aren’t sure where to start, we’ve got you covered! We’ve put together five simple advocacy actions you can take each day. Whenever you have a spare moment, choose one from the list below and make your voice heard.

  1. Call your legislator. 
  2. Make a post about an issue, policy, or bill that you are concerned about and tag your Senators/Representatives. 
  3. Make a short video on a health advocacy topic and share it on social media. You can also submit this to the DFA Advocacy Story Portal!
  4. Contribute your expertise to an advocacy action (i.e. call script, infographic, statement).
  5. Recruit a colleague or friend to get involved. There is power in numbers.
