PHT 5 Daily Advocacy Actions
With so much happening right now, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. If you’re looking for a way to take action but aren’t sure where to start, we’ve got you covered! We’ve put together five simple advocacy actions you can take each day. Whenever you have a spare moment, choose one from the list below and make your voice heard.
- Call your legislator.
- Make a post about an issue, policy, or bill that you are concerned about and tag your Senators/Representatives.
- Make a short video on a health advocacy topic and share it on social media. You can also submit this to the DFA Advocacy Story Portal!
- Contribute your expertise to an advocacy action (i.e. call script, infographic, statement).
- Recruit a colleague or friend to get involved. There is power in numbers.
