Speaker: Alyssa Lambrecht
Alyssa Lambrecht is a 3rd year medical student at Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. After helping to create a health policy advocacy student organization at her medical school, she found a passion for health equity and action-oriented leadership roles. As an aspiring oncologist and osteopathic student, she aims to facilitate physical, emotional, and spiritual healing by providing holistic, patient-centered care. Her interests include rural and underserved health care practice, medical student education on their role in government healthcare policy development and creating a more inclusive and welcoming community in medicine. Her hobbies include hiking, fitness, and cheering on her alma mater, the Purdue Boilermakers.

Speaker: Itisha Jefferson
Itisha Jefferson is a student at Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine. Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Itisha knew she wanted to facilitate change by serving her community as a physician after growing up in an urban and under resourced area that was riddled with health disparities. Her values are centered on achieving social justice for all, being of service to others while living your life as a positive agent of change, and upholding health as a human right by ensuring equal and equitable accessibility to affordable healthcare. She was a member of the 2022-2023 A. Gene Copello Health Advocacy Cohort. Outside of her advocacy, Itisha was awarded grant money from the American Academy of Dermatology to facilitate the Good Skin Knowledge Project. Here she taught young girls the facts about common skin, hair, and nail conditions.
