Vaccine Town Hall: Ages 5-11 Vaccine Rollout

In partnership with Made to Save, DFA is hosting this Town Hall Event to focus on the Age 5-11 Vaccine Rollout.
The target audience is parents of children ages 5-11 and will be moderated by parent and physician, Meenakshi Bewtra, MD, MPH, PHD.
Panelists include:
Krishnan Narasimhan, MD, is DFA’s Board Chair. He is an academic family medicine physician and an Associate Professor in the Department of Community and Family Medicine at Howard University. He is a graduate of Jefferson Medical College and completed his family medicine residency at the University of Connecticut. He has experience in medical education, evidence based medicine, health disparities, economic impacts, population health, and clinical transformation.
Stavonnie Patterson, MD, After graduating from Stanford University, she went on to gain her medical degree from Morehouse School of Medicine where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She completed a residency program in Internal Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital before training in Dermatology at Duke University Hospital. Dr. Patterson is passionate about the future of young people, health equity and equal opportunities for all.
Ian Gilson, MD, is a primary care internist practicing in Milwaukee, WI since 1977. Since March 2020 he has been involved in testing, managing, and vaccinating his patients at risk for and with Covid-19 infection, including telemedicine and outpatient care, and in community education on Covid-19 prevention and treatment. He has been a Doctors for America member since 2008. He is a fellow of the American College of Physicians, and serves on the Wisconsin chapter council and health policy committee. He is also a grandfather of 4 precious grandchildren, age 6 to 14.
