Doctors for America Statement on United States Preventive Services Task Force Removal
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Doctors for America is deeply concerned by reports that members of the USPSTF may be removed. We continue to urge Congress and Secretary Kennedy to protect the independence and integrity of the USPSTF. We join our colleagues across professional physician medical groups in opposing attempts to undermine the independence and evidence-based guidance of USPSTF and strongly reiterate that any disruption of their work puts the health of all Americans at serious risk.
