Doctors for America North Carolina Advocacy Training Virtual

One in five Americans are covered by Medicaid. Under the Affordable Care Act, Medicaid expansion expanded the Medicaid program to cover almost all adults with income levels up to 138% of the Federal Poverty Level. As of November 2022, 40 states have adopted Medicaid expansion and 11 states have not expanded Medicaid, including North Carolina.
At Doctors for America we believe physicians are the best advocates for putting patients over politics. With the right tools physicians can be public health leaders in implementing change in their communities.
