Community Health & Prevention Action Event

Beginning at 8 PM Eastern time / 5 PM Pacific Time, DFA’s Community Health & Prevention leaders will Zoom breakout rooms to do the work of the committee.

• The Gun Violence Prevention committee will be working on how to look up their home state’s gun violence prevention policies, and how to identify advocacy actions that DFA can help to amplify.
• The COVID Recovery committee will be working to put a series of TikTok videos together to encourage that platform’s millions of users to get vaccinated or boosted.
• The Substance Use Disorder committee will be focused on finalizing their statement on the importance of decriminalizing small amounts of substance use and promoting treatment instead of punishment.

These working action meetings take place on the 3rd Monday of each month.
