Advocacy Grand Rounds: Law Enforcement Presence and Divestment in Hospital Settings (Panel Discussion)

The Doctors for America Health Justice and Equity Impact Area seeks to investigate efforts doctors can make to keep their patients safe when seeking care. Within that effort, it is wildly understood that the presence of law enforcement can negatively affect the delivery of, access to and quality of healthcare. In this session, we will explore mechanisms of confronting law enforcement in healthcare settings and current movements to separate carcerality from care delivery.
